Your use of this website constitutes acceptance of the terms set out in this Terms & Conditions document and documents referred to by reference or hyperlink. DEFINITIONS

"Service" is a term used to describe counselling provision, quotations, supervision or other similar service and also covers the modality in which it is initiated, booked or actioned. This term also covers the active use or browsing of this website.

"Product" is a term used to describe counselling provision, quotations, supervision or other similar service and also covers the modality in which it is initiated, booked or actioned. This term also covers the active use or browsing of this website.

"Website" is a term used to describe an electronic presentation of data, including images, footage, wording, script and the means of their overall appearance and structure provided by Chesterfieldcounselling.co.uk.

"Representative" is a term used to describe the proprietor of Chesterfield Counselling.

"Client Contract" is a term used to describe information, and linked information (denoted by text having been underlined), provided under the Client Contract, Fees, Cancellation Policy, Confidentiality, Safety and Data Protection headings of this document.

"Chesterfield Counselling" is a term used to broadly describe any content comprised within or provided from Chesterfieldcounselling.co.uk via a website browser client or email client and the services or products provided by a representative of Chesterfield Counselling by way of a business transaction.



CLIENT CONTRACT

Please take a moment to review our contract, we will both agree and sign a copy of this during our initial session together, along with a copy of the Privacy Policy



FEES 

Counselling sessions are charged at £50 per 50 minute session for individuals and supervision sessions are charged at £50 per 60 minutes. Fees are payable a minimum of 24 hours before the session by BACS payment.



CANCELLATION POLICY 

If you are unable to attend then please give at least 24 hours cancellation notice, without which the full session fee will be charged. 



CONFIDENTIALITY 

All personal information disclosed during a session will be confidential, however, there are some exceptions: Counsellors are required to have regular and on-going supervision, in line with the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society (NCPS) code of ethics. Supervision is essential for reviewing and monitoring a therapist's work as well as an opportunity to gain new perspectives on the counselling process. If there is cause for concern for your safety, or the safety of a significant other close to you, consultation may be sought with another professional, such as your GP, but in this unusual situation the matter will be discussed with you and a mutually agreeable way forward will be sought. 



SAFETY

Chesterfield Counselling is registered and enumerated with the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS). The proprietor, Sharon Roe, holds an enhanced certificate with the DBS updates service which can be accessed by any member of the public where there is sufficient and appropriate reasoning.
